Therapeutic Approach
The focus is on facilitating psychological wellness and resilience through increasing self-insight and understanding of unhelpful dynamics, patterns, limiting beliefs and, environmental stressors. The understanding of these patterns is in recognising how they may both enable and, hinder one’s psychological well-being at an individual, family or group level.
The processes of understanding and making sense of these challenges are followed by the introduction and embedding of skills to adjust unhelpful dynamics and leverage the individual resourcefulness … towards restoring emotional resilience and, psycho-social effectiveness.
Where a systems approach is accessible and sanctioned by the client, the inputs of family members and other relevant role-players may be engaged in the therapeutic process.
A holistic approach with an openness to working collaboratively with therapists of other wellness modalities- when required- underpins healing at the mind, body and behaviour levels.
